Social media community research mostly focuses on the context of for-profit companies, lacking understanding of the non-profit organization community. This study integrates the technology acceptance model and social capital theory, considering the attributes of technology tools and individual factors to explore how satisfaction with platform tools and members affect overall volunteer satisfaction. This study adopted questionnaire survey and used structural equation modeling for analyzation. The results show that technology acceptance model (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness) has significant impacts on platform satisfaction. In addition, the influences of social capital (trust, social interaction ties, identification, and shared values) on community satisfaction shows significant positive effects except social interaction ties. Besides, platform satisfaction has a positive effect on community satisfaction, which in turn influences volunteer satisfaction, indicating that community satisfaction plays a mediating role. Finally, based on the research findings, this study offers managerial implications and suggestions as references for nonprofit organizations in managing volunteer relationships.
