'Sun Yat-sen Management Review' Submissions Guideline
I. Submissions should include a cover page, an abstract page, the main text, references, and appendices (if any), with pages numbered in sequence. For Chinese submissions, the total word count is limited to 15,000 words, including the abstract, main text, references, appendices, and tables/figures. Qualitative research may be an exception, but please do not exceed the limit by too much. For English submissions, the total page count is limited to 50 pages, including the abstract, main text, references, appendices, and tables/figures. All manuscripts, whether new submissions or revised ones based on reviewers' comments, must adhere to these length requirements.
II. The cover page should include the title of the paper in both Chinese and English, the names of the authors and their affiliations (including sub-affiliations) in both languages, as well as the address, contact phone number, fax number, and email address. The corresponding author should be clearly indicated for subsequent communication. (Please mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*), and provide a note at the bottom of the cover page as follows: *Corresponding author: name).
III. Please include a suggested citation in both Chinese and English at the bottom of the cover page. The citation should be formatted according to the 7th edition of the APA style.
●Suggested Citation: Author A, Author B, & Author C (OOOO). Article Title. Sun Yat-sen Management Review, OO(O), OOO-OOO. DOI: (link)
IV. The abstract page should include both the Chinese and English abstracts, as well as up to five keywords in both languages. The abstract should concisely describe the research question(s) and objectives, research methods, and findings. The length of the abstract in both Chinese and English should not exceed 300 words.
V. Format of Main Text: The paper title should be in 16-point font, section headings in 14-point font, and the main text in 12-point font. Details are as follows:
(1) Paragraph Formatting: The font for English text should be 12-point Times New Roman.
(2) Footnotes: Please avoid footnotes as much as possible to simplify the layout. If necessary, regardless of language, footnotes should be placed at the bottom of the page.
(3) In-Text Citations: In-text citations should follow the format below; for anything not covered, please refer to the APA 7th edition guidelines:
(A) Narrative Citation
【Example 1】 A simple slope analysis was used, following Aiken and West’s (1991) recommendations.

Note: When citing multiple references within parentheses,
list English references first, arranged alphabetically by surname or by stroke
order for Chinese names, separated by semicolons. Different articles by the
same author should be separated by commas.
(C) When citing references by different authors with the
same surname, add initials of their names to differentiate them.
【Example 1】 Coronary atherosclerosis is more common in males (J. M. Taylor & Neimeyer, 2015; T. Taylor, 2014).
VI. Figures and Tables
(1) Figures and tables should be placed within the main text.
(2) The title of a table should be positioned above the table, and the title of a figure should be positioned below the figure. Both should be numbered sequentially with Arabic numerals, and titles should be connected with a period, for example: Table1. Descriptive Statistics.
(3) If a brief explanation of the figures and tables (such as symbols in a table) is necessary, note it below the figure or table in 10-point font.
VII. References: The title of the reference articles should be written in full, including the text following a dash in Chinese titles and the text following a colon in English titles. List Chinese references first, arranged by surname stroke order; English references follow, arranged alphabetically by author’s last name.
