自從1980年代開始，決策支援系統的研究就在資訊管理的領域中占有相當重要的比重，本文針對過去十多年間，決策支援系統之研究進展作扼要之說明，同時根據過去研究之方向，歸納出一個研究架構，供有志於此一領域之研究者參考，架構中包括基礎、技術架構、開發應用與社會影響等四個構面。

Decision Support Systems (DSS) have been a major research area in information systems since early 1980s. The purpose of this article is to review previous research in the area and to propose a framework for integrating varions efforts. The framwork consists of four major aspects: DSS foundation, technical architecture, development and application, and social impact.
